Kodiak Homes LLC is a family-owned and locally-based builder of custom and semi-custom homes in the Metro Richmond area. We feature homes that utilize advanced building techniques, technologies, and design to deliver a high performance, energy efficient home to our customers.

Kodiak Homes LLC is owned and operated by Jon Anderson, who grew up in the residential construction industry. Jon learned construction from his Grandfather, who built homes for many decades, and from his Father, who for years successfully operated a building products company. After serving in the active duty U.S. Air Force, and after working for a period with Procter & Gamble, Jon returned to his natural passion, the residential construction industry.

Through our commitment, the result is a home that is more comfortable and healthy than one built through standard construction methods. Our homeowners enjoy improved indoor air quality, less moisture intrusion, and a quiet and comfortable, low maintenance home. Kodiak Homes LLC was one of the first few companies in the Richmond Area to become an EarthCraft certified green builder. EarthCraft is a comprehensive, voluntary, “green building” program that promotes the construction of high performance, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly homes.

Kodiak Homes LLC focuses on constructing homes that are both Earthcraft and Energy Star certified. Why? Because, simply put, we believe it is the right thing to do.
